I am a Chartered Landscape Architect (almost retired, but can’t give it up). I love trees and specified the planting of over 35,000 trees and native shrubs in different sites across the South-East.
I was the Director of a Landscape Architecture practice based in Sussex specialising in designing and enhancing public spaces, often in consultation with local communities. Our projects included schools, grounds of care homes, a hospital, a linear sustainable transport scheme, heritage and ecclesiastical sites.
Subsequently, whilst living in Tetbury, I was a member of the team that worked on their neighbourhood development plan fighting the corner for the environment. Using that experience I am now part of a strong steering group working on the Neighbourhood Development Plan for this Parish Council and Planning Lead for Eastcombe Ward.
